【本邦初】ANTT®公式日本語版・手順書を公開しました

J-IVCARES has released the official Japanese version of Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT®) and its procedures. This is the first time the Japanese version of ANTT® has been released in Japan.

What is ANTT®

ANTT® isA practical framework for systematizing aseptic technique advocated by the UK's Association for Safe Aseptic Practice (ASAP)is.A concept applicable to all invasive procedures and all clinical settings, including the insertion and management of indwelling vascular catheters.as it is widely used internationally.

Traditionally, aseptic technique has often been described using ambiguous terms like "clean" and "dirty," or based on the experience of individual facilities and practitioners. ANTT® provides a reproducible framework by clearly identifying what needs to be protected (Key-Part, Key-Site) and enabling the selection of standard methods based on the difficulty of the procedure.

Background of the Japanese version creation

Previously, in Japan, it was necessary to refer to the original text to understand the ANTT® concept. J-IVCARES, with permission from ASAP, has created an official Japanese version so that nurses and doctors in clinical settings can utilize it in their daily work. The translation was done by J-IVCARES.

This can be used as reference material for creating in-hospital procedure manuals and revising manuals, as well as for training new and existing staff. Please also utilize it for infection control link nurse training and vascular access team activities.
