J-IVCARES (Japan Vasculature Indwelling Catheter Research Association) is engaged in the safe insertion and management of indwelling vascular catheters, as well as the prevention of catheter-related bloodstream infections. ANTT
ANTT (Aseptic Non-Touch Technique) is an international standard framework for protecting patients from infection, applicable to all invasive procedures and all clinical settings. J-IVCARES has released the official Japanese version.
We are also releasing a Japanese version of the manual that translates the ANTT approach into practical techniques.
I-DECIDED.
I-DECIDED is a tool for evaluating and decision-making regarding vascular access devices, developed by groups such as Australia's AVATAR (Alliance for Vascular Access Teaching and Research) Group. It aids in making management decisions for the continuation, replacement, or removal of devices such as PICCs (peripherally inserted central catheters) and peripheral venous catheters by structurally evaluating them on a daily basis.
J-IVCARES has created the first Japanese translation of I-DECIDED. The Japanese version is available in three types: "All Devices (General Use) Version," "Peripheral Intravenous Catheter (PIVC) Version," and "PICC Version." Please visit the page below for the content and to download each version.

About AVATAR Group
The AVATAR (Alliance for Vascular Access Teaching and Research) Group is an organization founded in Australia in 2007 that conducts research on vascular access. Based at Griffith University in Brisbane, it collaborates with many institutions, including the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, and the University of the Sunshine Coast, on research projects.
J-IVCARES works in cooperation with AVATAR.
