Peripheral venous catheters and clinical features of phlebitis development (Turkey)

When we administer infusion therapy, the first thing we do is insert an indwelling peripheral intravenous needle, which is common in every field.

Complications such as extravascular leakage or obstruction, infection, and phlebitis in 50% of patients with needle (PIVC) insertion
is said to be occurring, device observation and early detection of abnormalities are very important.
